Th...I remember that "adventure" vividly!! They had gone camping for that weekend, and their friends were "keeping an eye on us". I distinctly remember feeling indignant over that, too. And how I tried to talk them into letting us stay for the parade. I mean, it was almost dawn already! But no, we had to go home. I remember trying to put on my best pout-face as I stomped past the poor "baby sitter" and slammed the door to my room. oh, the teen angst, ha ha.<br /><br />It makes me happy that we can share good memories together, now that they are gone.
